Los Cabos
Cabo San Lucas, like all the Vida Vidanta resorts, is unique, and if you want a quiet, adult-oriented resort, close to a small Mexican village, this resort is for you. At this time, the resort offers only a Grand Mayan, and it is smaller than most of the Vida resorts. It sits between the ocean and the small town of San Juan del Cabo, a small Mexican fishing village. But you can easily walk into San Juan to find many small restaurants and shops. There is also a Mega super market within a block of the resort that you can easily walk to and pick up your groceries.
Benefits for this resort are:
-
Across the street is the small 9-hole, Punta Sur, golf course associated with the resort. This was the original course in Los Cabos and was built in 1987.
-
Walk to the village.
-
A block away from a Mega Supermarket, easy walk to buy groceries.
The ocean has heavy, breath-taking, waves with a small beach, but the ocean here is often too rough for swimming. Rent a car and drive for a few miles and you can find many quiet beaches.
The company has been advertising a larger resort further up the coast at East Cape for some time, but it is currently not completed.
